New Bern, a striking city founded in 1710, is home to Fairfield Harbour, a community located on the banks of the Neuse River. Fairfield Harbour offers an array of amenities, including land and water sports, river cruises, live entertainment, and opportunities to discover New Bern's 300 years of historical treasures.

The Space:
At Fairfield Harbour step into your new home away from home. You'll adore your 1 bedroom/1bath condo that is 511 sq ft! The master bedroom has a king bed (varies), an attached en suite and jetted tub. In the living room there is a queen couch sleeper, and access to the balcony/patio where you can appreciate the sights with your guests. This condo can accommodate up to 4 guests!  A mini kitchen and a dining room, accepts you the option to prepare your own meals and savor the convenience of dining in. It also includes a washer and dryer in-unit. With all the necessary amenities, and so much fun to have at the resort, you're sure to make many magnificent memories!

This is a time-share resort. You will be a guest of the owner. You might be offered a gift for listening to the Wyndham timeshare presentation. This is NOT obligatory.

When to go & When to book:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in New Bern. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
• Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
• Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did your family have a terrific stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it.
