Everything in this home is new or nearly new. Ideal for a summer vacation, to savor a holiday week, to visit with your favorite Marine or just to get away. Quiet, suburban tract but close to everything including grocery stores, eateries and retail. New Bern is a cozy, riverside town with many stores and the original Pepsi Cola soda fountain. You will be a short drive to The Neuse and Trent Rivers and only 45 mins. from the Atlantic Ocean so there are plenty of opportunities for water sports. Also, there are miles of gorgeous hiking trails close by. Will consider long term renters and we will make every effort to support military families.

Located in New Bern, this vacation home is on a river. Tryon Palace and North Carolina History Center at Tryon Palace are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at New Bern Grand Marina and Northwest Creek Marina. When to reserve a Pamlico area rental & When to go:

  • Summer months are high season in the Pamlico area area. To get the largest rental within budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Pamlico area attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Pamlico area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.
