Historic Bath


Meander the streets of this historic waterfront community, which was the first incorporated town in what is now North Carolina. Home to Blackbeard the Pirate and the oldest church in North Carolina, Bath features guided tours from the site visitor center and a free 15-minute orientation video. The historic district includes the states oldest church, St. Thomas Episcopal, and three restored historic house museums from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Apr 1 - Oct 31, Mon - Sat 9 AM - 5 PM; Sun 1-5 PM.
Closed Monday during winter months. Admission charged.
